Starting this year, the Russian government will begin teaching three major African languages in a few Moscow schools as part of efforts to strengthen links with the continent. This is coming in light of the growing international isolation Russia is experiencing as a result of the invasion of Ukraine. The National Industrial Court has upheld the no work no pay rule by the Federal Government in the suit filed against the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). An Osun State High Court has found the popular hotel owner, and proprietor, Oduduwa University, Ile-Ife, Dr Ramon Adedoyin guilty in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke, a former Masters degree student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, who was murdered at Hilton Hotel, between November 5 and 7, 2021.
