A federal high court in Abuja has declared the activities of Yan Bindiga and Yan Ta’adda bandit groups as acts of terrorism. Hon. A Warri Chief Magistrate’s Court has Arraigned Ayirimi Emami, the deposed Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, over alleged stealing of two royal crowns worth N2 billion belonging to Warri Kingdom. The Lagos State Judiciary has held a valedictory court session in honour of a former Chief Judge of the state, late Justice Samuel Ilori. A statement released on Thursday titled, ‘Lagos Judiciary Holds Valedictory Court Session In Honour Of Late Justice Samuel Omotunde Ilori,’ revealed that the session was held at the premises of the Ikeja High Court. The World Bank on Tuesday released its November 2021 Nigeria Development Update, which showed — among other things — that eight million Nigerians fell into poverty in less than two years as a result of inflation shocks.  The report also revealed that Nigeria no longer benefits from high oil prices, with record low revenues, and exorbitant fuel subsidies, which makes Nigeria the only country in the world granting universal price petrol subsidies.
