One of the problems hampering the increase in visa appointments by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria is the manipulation of the visa appointment system by touts, Susan Tuller, the U.S. Consular Coordinator, has said. Ninety-one year old law lecturer Prof. Toriola Ajagbe Oyewo, who was promoted to the rank of senior advocate of Nigeria, SAN, last year is dead. The United States embassy in Nigeria has lifted the restriction on drop box service or interview waiver for those renewing visas in the country. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it recovered and returned 11 houses to Arthur Eze, a businessman. In a statement issued on Monday, Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesperson, said the houses were recovered in Enugu from Olisaebuka Eze and Onyeka Eze, who worked as administrative and finance managers respectively for the businessman.
