The Honourable Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Kazeem Alogba has directed that all Magistrates from Grade Level 10 and above that were affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic Work From Home Directive of the Lagos State Government to to resume work on Wednesday, 24th March 2021. This excludes Magistrates posted to the JIC Taylor Magistrate Court Igbosere, who are to await further directives in this regard, a statement from the Deputy Chief Registrar (Admin) Omolade Awope said on Monday. The Corporate Affairs Commission has canceled the unlimited accreditation granted to Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Secretaries to transact business with the Commission on behalf their clients. The commission has replaced the unlimited accreditation with yearly renewable accreditation at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira for individuals and Fifty Thousand Naira for firms. Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammadu has charged the African Bar Association (AFBA) to work hard for the unification of African judiciary and mutual legal development.
