The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested 35 Nigerians in North Texas, in fraud worth $117 Million. They will face indictment for money laundering and wire scam that defrauded over 100 people nationwide. According to the department, the defendants are accused of conducting romance schemes to defraud and steal money from older American adults. The website of Nigeria’s digital currency, eNaira, went live on Monday. This is coming days to its official launch on October 1 as earlier disclosed by the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele. A Federal High Court in Abuja has faulted the procedure adopted by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in obtaining an order empowering it to seize some houses belonging to Senator Buhari Abdulfatai over his N600 million indebtedness to a commercial bank.
