Freedom isn’t in sight yet for former Deputy Senator President, Ike Ekweremadu, as he will remain in detention with the UK authority over the alleged case of organ harvesting.
According to TheCable, the Central Criminal Court in UK has adjourned the case to October 31, 2022.
Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice are facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.
During the last hearing, Ekweremadu came a step closer to being acquitted of the organ harvesting allegation made against him as the court ruled that David Ukpo is not a minor.
They appeared in court today, Thursday.
