The federal high court in Abuja has rejected a report claiming that James Omotosho, a judge, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt after sentencing Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment. In a statement on Sunday signed by Sulaiman Hassan, the chief registrar, the court said its attention was drawn to the report posted by a blog. A 24-year-old convict, Usama Abdullahi, has lamented that his three girlfriends, who he gave stolen packs of noodles, did not visit him in prison.
Usama, who worked at a car wash was sentenced to community service following the review of a 2-year jail term slammed on him for theft by a court in Shelleng Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
