Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state extended the period of mourning in the state to Wednesday.This is contained in a statement signed to Akure by the governor’s chief press secretary, Richard Olatunde. The Nigerian government may spend nearly 100 per cent of its revenue on debt servicing by 2026, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned. The Bretton Wood institution raised concerns over Nigeria’s fiscal conditions, adding the nation spends 89 per cent of its revenue on debt.
